"The Hotel itself is good and well located. To find the right entrance from the parking spot could be a task on its own, because each floor has its own entrance. In the dark there aren’t enough lights to lead the way. The included breakfast was a new experience and a kind we’ve never experienced before, and we hope we’ll never experience again. You have to choose a few from different kinds of items, that the hole process to explaining to us or other customers took so long, that we wonder how this system will work when there are more than a few at the order desk. "

"Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Parkplatz vor der Tür, gut erreichbar, Frühstück sehr einfach, Räume zweckmässig, gute und saubere Bäder; Personal freundlich, wirkt eher wie ein einfaches Motel, hat keinen Flair und Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen (scheint in den USA häufig der Fall zu sein, für uns nicht angenehm), für 1 Nacht ok, länger würden wir nicht bleiben."

"Bear Mountain State Park und die Unterkünfte overlook lodge und bear mountain inn sind traditionelle lodges mit rustikalem interior, das sehr gepflegt ist und super gut in die Umgebung passt. Die trails sind wunderbar und auch wenn man nur im den Hessian Lake wandert, hat man einen tollen Spaziergang erledigt."
