A lovely well presented and equipped cottage, ideally located for day trips into Stratford upon Avon and Warwick. Teabags, coffee, milk, bread and butter were waiting for us when we got there. We loved the peace and quiet of the location and would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone looking for a break in this location.
We (two couples) loved staying in Middle Cottage. The 600 year old house has been lovingly updated without losing the charm. I loved cooking on the AGA. The beds, linens, and living room furnishings were very comfortable. The host was most accommodating and responsive. There were eggs, bread, coffee, tea, milk and treats to get us started, but know there are no shops in the village (and currently, no pub) so if you're planning on cooking for an evening meal, stop and stock up on your way.
This is a beautiful and quirky cottage in a lovely part of England. The cottage is well appointed and very comfortable, particularly the upstairs king size bed. Not suitable for small children due to the steep stairs and there are some privacy issues with bathrooms but this should not put people off staying at this lovely cottage
