malheureusement à notre arrivée le réceptionniste n'a pas pu nous ouvrir la porte d'une chambre... après plusieurs tentatives il a ouvert la fenêtre de l'extérieur en essayant de l'escalader... nous avons considéré cela dangereux et inquiet pour notre sécurité, alors nous décidé de louer dans un autre hôtel. de plus, la chambre était insalubre et pleine de moisissures, un vrai danger pour la santé : C'est pourquoi nous vous demandons de rembourser le montant que nous avons payé pour l'hébergement. Merci de votre compréhension

Arrived at 10pm on a Monday night. Door locked and no one in sight called the customer service number posted on the wall, and listened to the phone ring five feet away. Hung around 10-15 minutes and called again - still no answer. Left to find another place. Half an hour later I got a call, asking if I was still coming. I explained the door was locked and no one answered the phone, so I left. The staff person said "okay" and that was it. No explanation, no apology.

The property was in a very poor state of upkeep, and the rooms were noticeably unclean. The first room we were assigned had visibly stained and dirty bed sheets, and the bed itself appeared unsanitary. We also found cigarette butts on the floor, and the room had an overwhelmingly unpleasant odor. After requesting a different room, the second room was only marginally better. It was supplied with just one towel, which was stained, had holes, and was clearly unwashed. The shower curtain had visible black mold spots, there was no fire detector installed, and the bathroom fan was exposed with wires hanging dangerously out. The bed sheets again appeared to be barely cleaned, and there was no working phone in the room. The only reason we stayed was because we were attending a nearby event and simply needed a place to shower after a long day. In the morning, loud noises and banging could be heard from outside, and when we tried to check out, there was no staff member available. I cannot recommend this property. The lack of basic cleanliness, combined with safety hazards like exposed wiring and absent fire safety measures, makes it an unsuitable and unsafe place to stay.

I have stayed in nasty hotels & hostels in various different countries and across the US... and this motel is one of the WORST I've ever experienced. As I pulled in there were ambulances and firetrucks in the parking lot (handling an overdose no doubt). The front office was locked (~6PM), and nobody was answering the phone. I took that time to grab a bite to eat, and the hotel manager was back when I returned an hour later. In that time, the manager had cancelled my booking and made me RE-book at a higher price. The room had recently had the TV ripped off the wall, there was no A/C, no TOILET PAPER, the ceiling light was just a dangling light bulb, the sheets had stains and cigarette burns throughout, it smelled like a FRESH ashtray (non-smoking room), and through the paper-thin walls I could hear every car passing on the freeway as well as the surrounding junkies loudly arguing up to 4:30am. This room was like a scene from a cheap movie. Hotels nearby are similar price and you should go with those.

You might be better off sleeping on your car. If you like feeling swindled and waking up with bugs on you in a building that is getting money for having cell phone antennae on bith sides of the building but is too cheap to wash the red lipstick off the comforter from the people before , let alone fix the curtain rod dangling from the wall, before you are told that they don't have any bug.problms when you ask for a different room as a resolution to your polite complaint, then you can stay here

When we pulled up there was a tarp over the roof. And we had to spend several minutes calling the office on the phone before someone finally checked us in. When we walked into the room it was so dirty and the locks on the door so insecure that we were not confortable staying there. We left almost immediately and slept in our car.

Again, at the price and location in regard to the DC metro area, you can’t beat the price. At only a couple bus stops away from the Huntington metro its extremely convenient. The staff is great as well!

I arrived at 3 pm. Office was locked, nobody there. I called and could hear phone ringing inside but nobody was inside. Entire roof was covered with black plastic, the building looks like it is abandoned. I was not able to look inside a room and left after 20 minutes of waiting. Expedia needs to refund me, and should be ashamed for advertising this property.

We booked this motel as the cheapest option in the area. We weren't able to check in on time because our room wasn't ready. Once the room was ready it heavily smelled of smoke. The carpet looked like it was coming up. Lamp shades were disheveled, and did not look like a place we wanted to be at or feel safe at. We ever up booking another hotel but to far from it

I stayed at Travelers Budget Host Motel in Alexandria and, unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The room didn’t feel clean, there was a lingering smell, like it had been smoked in for a while, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The furniture and bedding felt worn, and the A/C was weak, which made the room uncomfortable. I’m not usually picky when it comes to budget stays, but this one fell short even by basic standards. I don’t know if my expectations were unrealistic, but I definitely wouldn’t have booked it had I known what I was walking into. It was a mistake on my part, and I wouldn’t stay here again. Overall it’s affordable, but at the cost of comfort and cleanliness.

No TV. No refrigerator. Both were advertised in the ad before purchasing. Couch is filthy and has “male bodily excretions” on it (to put it lightly) The bed has pubic hairs in the sheets. Used douche bottle behind the non functioning TV. ROACHES!!!! Used condoms and condom wrappers in the bathroom. Floor is filthy, trash under the couch. Trash in the dressers.

Expedia should stop doing business with this motel. I had to reach out to Expedia in order for the desk clerk to check me in because there were no one currently available at the office. sheets were dirty. Linens were dirty. toilet malfunction. Sink clogged. Walls were thin, causing me smell an older from the room next door. Called the office for clean linen, but no one answered the number posted on the door. Just pay the extra $100 and stay across the street at the hotel. Not worth the hassle

Hands down worst hotel I have ever made a reservation at. Room door didn't lock if you wanted to leave, no A/C, TV broken, super dirty towels, clogged toilet, disgustingly dirty shower curtain. I made a reservation at another hotel and left this dump even if I accepted the fact that I lost my money.
