« Rode my bike 77 miles in the heat to this place including 1.5 miles up a very steep hill. I was sweaty and tired. How nice to meet Xander who not only patiently checked me in but offered me a water... the elevator was fast, the room spotless, and laundry efficient. It was nice they had a limited beer selection. I was disappointed the fridge was off, but my wife suggested using the ice bucket to keep the beer cold and it worked. My biggest disappointment was no food within walking distance and...

« L'extérieur nous a conquis : cadre magnifique (vue sur le lac et forêt), extérieur avec chaises, barbecue au gaz et point chaud. Et le beau temps était de la partie. Seuls points faibles : le clic-clac en fin de vie où on sentait les ressorts et les voisins qu'on entendait comme s'ils étaient dans notre pièce de vie. Il nous a manqué une plaque de gaz, nous n'avions qu'un micro-ondes pour manger. Le micro-ondes ne fait pas tout. Un petit éclairage au-dessus de l'évier serait très utile, il...

« Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed! »

« The loft was just the prescription that two very tired people needed! The cozy atmosphere, and beautiful decor made it such a great place to rest. My husband loved the pond and caught so many fish! We took a few “day trips” to nearby attractions and ate at several restaurants in town, such good food!!!! »

« Very nice property. Very clean and well stocked. Location was perfect for hikes on the southern end of Antietam battlefield. Hot tub nice for relaxing after a busy day. My wife loved the Keurig latte maker. The winery next door was a plus as well. Would love to stay at in the future. »

« I stayed 2 nights at the Cozy Getaway and it was exactly that—super nice, comfortable, and just as pictured. Perfect for 1–2 travelers, maybe even with one kiddo. Kimberly, the host, communicated well, was attentive, and very friendly. My favorite part was definitely the porch—it made the whole stay feel extra relaxing. The place was spotless, and the location is great with good food within walking distance.I’m almost hesitant to share how much I liked it because I definitely plan to come back! »

« The home was very clean and just as pictured. Temperatures went down to 39 degrees so it was a little cold, but we packed warm clothes. Beds were very comfortable. Found a package of firewood at 7-11 that burned great for the firepit! Really enjoyed our stay and would most definitely return! »

« This place is one of the best houses I’ve stayed in Berkeley Springs! Very clean, hot tub was tremendous, great view with a deck and the fire pit was perfectly located. It has all the amenities and comforts of home. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. »
