We loved the house, and the pool and outside area are just wonderful. I relaxed every afternoon for a few hours by the pool. The house itself is old but cozy and comfortable and has everything you need. Silvia is a great hostess and easy to reach if you need advice. We felt very welcome and at home. We definetely will come back next year.
I believe because it is not a new house it has great advantages. The way it is built, you can open the windows, the sun doesn't get in (insect screen on every window) and we never had to use the air con. The wooden floors are warm and comfortable and nice looking. The coffee maker (Keurig)made great coffee for us in dem morning and dishwasher and washing machine and dryer worked like a charm.
The only downside is a very small bathroom, where you don't have much space over the washing basin. The shower is big enough. There is a second bathroom, but it is located outside the house in the same small building where the laundry is. So if you are more than 2 people you should be prepared. For us it idn't pose a problem.
And one more thing: our little dog, Honey the poodle, loved the garden and could run around with no chance of getting out into the street.
The area of West Palm Beach is very nice with lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops and parks for walking. I wish we could have stayed longer.
