We booked this property in October 2025 to attend a huge cigar event in the area. We arrived and were accommodated with an early check in of 2pm. We left and went out to get some grocery items for the weekend to include items for grilling out..only to find no grill. I contacted the host to see where it was located and she replied with please contact the owner. Weird but I complied. When I reached out to him he indicated it was in bad shape and he had to throw it away. Okay. Being reasonable that things can happen it was no big deal. We proceeded to adapt and decided we have a fire pit and lap pool to enjoy…only to discover no fire pit either and a lap pool 6’ off the ground with NO decking around it to attempt to flip back the cover and stairs leading up to it that were sketchy at best and impossible to get in and out so it was deemed a useless “amenity”. At this point my husband called the owner to let him know the issues and the amenities that were advertised but not accurate. The owner asked him to text the guidebook for the house that we received which I did. He indicated he was sorry for the inconvenience of the “outdated guidebook”. Advised me he will allow us to stay our first night for no charge and asked that we vacate the property by noon the next day and would give us a full refund!! What?!! I told him we can certainly deal with the amenities not there as promised and continue with our stay.
