« We loved our stay at Fern Cottage! We felt relaxed, comfortable and at home from the minute we arrived. The pictures do not do it justice.... it was more spacious than we thought and it has such incredible views. There are many wonderful walks from the doorstep, either a quick stroll down to the lakeside or to the mountains (We climbed Barrow and Catbells on our stay!). « I stayed with my two sisters for 4 nights in September. The house was clean, comfortable and very spacious. All 3 double bedrooms were large. Having two bathrooms (plus an additional toilet!) was great.The furnishings and decor were lovely, giving the house a cosy, welcoming feel. « Bungalow has amazing views from lounge and kitchen. Lovely kitchen with plenty of storage space and bonus having dishwasher. Super comfy bed in the main bedroom and great to have plenty, practical furniture such as wardrobe and draws and not just a few hangers and shelves. « This was a very cozy spot. Much smaller than we expected but we were out most of the day. We had no place to sit except the bed. We needed toilet and towels and it took over 10 hours to get a toilet response. Other than that it was great. »
