This was an amazing experience. All you need at this Cabin in food and groceries. The hosts have provided everything else you need. The location provides access to so many activities like, walks, wildlife watching, hiking and is easy access to get to fishing and Bishops castle. We cannot wait to stay again.

This was our second time staying at this little slice of paradise, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The cabin is charming, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything and anything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. The check-in process was seamless and the WIFI worked great so we were able to work away from home.The location is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, serene and a hummingbird heaven!The hosts are amazing. Tammy and Phillip are so friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home and enjoyed every moment of my stay. The Two Bears Cabin is just gorgeous. The bedrooms are wonderful, with comfortable beds and pillows and a large living room with a nice woods stove. The kitchen and dining room are wonderful! Two nice bathrooms with everything you need. One of the big highlights for us was the fenced in yard for the dogs and access right out the door to Forest Service trails. You can easily hike 7 miles from the cabin. The cabin also has a wonderful porch to hang out on, with beautiful views. Tammy and Phillip were wonderful and made our stay so special. A great experience for sure.

Anniversary Weekend

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We love the location and the owners couldn’t be sweeter and more pleasant. Tammy knew we were coming for our anniversary and there was cake, wine and roses waiting for us. I just love staying here. We will definitely be back!

The location was perfect for our sibling reunion. Out in the middle of nowhere beautiful Colorado. With little distractions and lots of family time. The cabin has everything we needed with plenty of room for 6 people and a hideaway loft that the teenager loved. We ventured to the town of West Cliff about 20 minutes away. Small town vibes shops and food. Bishops Castle is a must see, check out their website to learn about the history. It is amazing! Philip and Tammy friendly and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed.

It is a gem.

Very nice house with comfortable furniture, good beds, well equipped kitchen, and nice view. It's close to, but far enough off, the highway that we rarely heard highway noise. The owners live on site : lovely people, good neighbors, and responsive hosts. We expect to go for another stay.

Great cabin in a beautiful setting

This property was amazing ! The hosts could not have been more accommodating. The setting is amidst national forest, so beautiful views and no crowds. Lots of hiking options. We were in the area for functions in Pueblo, and this was a beautiful and easy drive away. Far better than staying in town! We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Gorgeous property

This is a beautiful property in a wonderful location at about 9400' above sea level. The cabin is extremely well stocked with everything needed. Lots of bedding, towels, kitchen utensils, chargers, firewood, games. We brought our new dog and were thrilled with the large, fenced, grassy yard area connected to the back porch, where she could safely be let out. The WiFi and TVs worked great. The owners, Tammy and Phillip, were very friendly and quickly responded to any questions or issues, but otherwise did not intrude. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect weekend

We rented this property for family who were coming in for a wedding. It was a wonderful experience, and our host was amazing. From the fresh baked, lemon cake and wine left at check-in to making sure that we were satisfied and taken care of through check out, Tammy was amazing. We will be back next month for our anniversary because it was so great.

Mountain Home stay

Great location to stay. Phillip greeted us upon arrival, very nice and friendly guy. We enjoyed our stay at their location. One thing we were very displeased with was the uncleanliness in the house. Dog hair all over the place, on the carpets, the beds, on the countertops & table. Pet friendly places must be cleaned much better at all times.

This was a peaceful spot to enjoy family time. Had wide range of amenities like Wi-Fi, board games, lawn games, fire pit, washer and dryer and more- check out the list! Host was reachable and answered our questions. Had two bathrooms, three bedrooms with larger beds, and a loft with additional sleeping arrangements. Kitchen is fully stocked with variety of items you may need for cooking- toaster, microwave, Kerig, pots/pans, and more. Some of the light switches are a bit in odd spots but the hosts have everything very well labeled. The deck was a nice spot to watch the birds and wildlife. Can’t wait till we can return another time.

Phil and Tammy made this VRBO experience absolutely the best accommodations experience I've ever had... In a past life I spent about 16 years in a career that required me to travel and I've never enjoyed something as much as the cozy two bears! From the eaves of reserving, checking in, fast responsive communication, in-person introduction, intermittent check-ins while we were here and for the most part, other than bringing our own belongings and food, everything a person could possibly need was here! Thank you so very much for making my family get together an amazing one! Can't wait to come back again for perhaps a romantic getaway with my wife

Everything you need!

Tammy and Phillip’s cabin was well-equipped and cozy, and everything about the stay was easy. Our hosts thought about every single detail and it was a perfect place to unwind with my parents, my brother and my husband. The fenced in yard for the dogs was maybe our favorite part. Easy hiking, great views, stargazing, and a beautiful locstion. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. Tammy and Phillip were gracious, abailable, and even checked in to see if we needed anything from the store while they were out. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

This is a wonderful experience that I will remember for a long time... The cabin is in a wonderful location surrounded by pine mountains, fresh air, beautiful water... Lake Isabel is beautiful and full of fish, Bishop Castle is amazing, Royal bridge is a unique experience, Horse riding at Bear Basin Ranch... We spent unforgettable family moments. Many attractions around, restaurants with good food... something for everyone. And of course Tammy and Philip are wonderful, excellent hosts who we experienced more like friends we have known all our lives, people who guided us and helped us find everything we needed. Truly A Slice of Heaven

I don’t know where to begin. The Two Bears Cabin is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Phillip and Tammy are such hospitable hosts. Everything you need is there for you. The beds are comfy and cozy, the overall charm and decor is so inviting. My favorite part was sitting on the wrap around porch drinking my coffee and listening to the birds wake up as the sun rose. The mountain views are like nothing I’ve ever seen. Thanks again for such a wonderful experience.

Stunning Cabin surrounded by national forest!

Two Bears Rach is a jem. The perfect combination of rustic and luxury. With 6 people and a dog there was plenty of room. The cabin was very well maintained and equiped with anything you could think of from games to all the kitchen fixins tou can think of. Tammy and Phillip greeted us with open arms and treated us as part of their family. Two Bears Ranch property is surrounded by national forest, so the opportunities are endless. They even figured out a way to accommodate a side by side for me and my family to crusise around.the national forest in. The photos on line dont do this place justice. Enjoyable stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this cozy mountain cabin! It’s nestled in a peaceful, beautiful spot surrounded by trees, yet still close enough to a few towns for shopping and dining. The front porch was perfect for relaxing, and the cabin was spacious enough to comfortably fit all six of us.The hosts were warm and welcoming — they left us a thoughtful bottle of wine and a lemon cake upon arrival and stopped by to say hello, which we appreciated. When we had an issue with the oven not working, they responded quickly and fixed a breaker problem right away.That said, the oven and stove burners didn’t heat up enough for us to cook our full traditional Lebanese family dinner, which was a bit disappointing. The oven itself is a charming vintage piece — very cute — but unfortunately not fully functional. Also, there was a strong scent in the house, towels, and bedding that caused some breathing discomfort for those of us sensitive to smells.One safety note: we noticed there were no fire alarms in the cabin, which would be an important improvement for guest safety.Overall, this was a relaxing spot with friendly hosts, and we would consider returning if the kitchen issues and scent concerns are addressed. We waited to leave this review because we didn’t want to seem overly critical — just wanted to share honest feedback that might help future guests and the hosts improve the experience.

A perfect gem little gem in the forest!

I have never stayed in a better VRBO! This little cabin is a perfect blend of cozy comfort and quiet. Tammy and Phillip are amazing and I am happy to have them as my new friends! Everything in the cabin is above and beyond. It's the little details that cannot be overlooked! The bed was so comfy, the kitchen was stocked with anything and everything needed to prepare meals. The very large wrap around porch was buzzing with hummingbirds! I could go on and on but, they truly considered every need you can think of...we wanted for absolutely nothing the entire 8 days we were here and were so sad to leave. They graciously let us bring our dogs and we all enjoyed a respite from the Texas heat. My husband and I went rafting in Canon City, visited the castle, went on a jeep tour of the Red Canyon, trekked with llamas! As much fun as we had, and as many nearby places that we visited, the cabin and immediate surroundings were the most beautiful part of our trip. It was so gorgeous, serene and peaceful. Sitting by the fire at night and watching the sunset over the mountains was heaven. Words cannot express how grateful we are to have found both this cabin and Tammy and Phillip. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back!

Thoughtful but room for improvements

This property has a lot of potential to be fantastic - it is in a nice location and has plenty of space. It would be great if you are traveling with pets, as there is a really nice securely fenced area. One of the highlights was a string of hummingbird feeders along the great front porch, and it was buzzing with loads of hummingbirds! There are some issues that really impacted our stay and could be easily addressed. There was a pretty bad smell coming from one of the bedrooms, and once the Febreze wore off it was even stronger. The house itself also has a lot of air fresheners that make for an overall unpleasant experience. Cleanliness was also an issue. The pillows were soiled under the covers. Both bathrooms had loads of towels already hanging, and I question if those are all washed after ever visit. The property was also pretty dusty, but this may be because it is covered in highly personalized decor (literally every inch of the walls has "decor"). First world issues are flaky wifi (perhaps it was the weather, but more likely it is because the router is in the main house so the cabin receives weak signal), and no dishwasher (and not much room to leave dishes to dry either). The hosts were very gracious and greeted us upon arrival. It was really nice they left brownies and a bottle of wine. However, they were slow to respond to a few texts, although this was incidental to the other issues. We decided to leave a day early and appreciated the refund for that last night.

Horrible Communication and zero regard for others.

We never got to stay there, the owners left the listing up and active even though they knew the cabin wasn’t accessible at that time of year, as they claimed when they canceled our reservation the day before we were supposed to have checked in. Our Family was already IN Colorado, staying at a resort we had booked and were supposed to head to the cabin the next day when they decided to cancel our reservation leaving our family stranded with no where to go, to top it off they claimed it would take 7 days to get refunded and we had just the funds to be there for the week, we did not have extra funds to book another property, the owners seemed annoyed and mad that I was complaining about them canceling the reservation instead of being concerned about leaving my family and I stranded in a snow storm with nowhere else to go, AND made it seem like I was “lucky” that they even refunded us! For something that was THEIR mistake! Like seriously?!? They ruined a big part of our vacation and still charged us an extra fee for complaining about it instead of trying to help us figure something out. By far the worst hosts I have ever ran into on VRBO. I don’t recommend anyone doing business with these shady hosts, we had a horrible experience with them. For the record, they claimed the reason they canceled was the property wasn’t accessible by vehicle due to too much snow, yet the day of I drove right in front of the property since I was already in the area, to see if it was true, It wasn’t
