„We had a wonderful stay at this property for the weekend. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable and cozy. It turned quite cold the weekend we were there (goodbye summer), but we stayed plenty warm. There was a fire pit outside and a wood burning fireplace inside as well. After exploring the local area, we spent our evenings on the deck with a glass of wine, watching the bunnies and kangaroos in the paddock - so much serenity! Heather was an excellent host. We stayed as 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog and the place was a great size with an even better backyard including chicken coop that the kids adored. „Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts.“

„This accommodation is just perfect for a couple's getaway. Peter was very responsive and helped out with everything we needed. While this property is attached to their home, we had plenty of privacy. Everything you need is on hand, plenty of space and stunning views. We ate out on the deck every night with a troop? of ducks, and watched the cockies find a tree to sleep in. While close to town (9km) we would stay here out of the hustle and bustle of Daylesford again in a heartbeat@!“
