Overall, there is much to like about this apartment. The views are stunning, the bathrooms are modern, and the location is perfect to enjoy Whitby. However, there are a few incidents about the host support that prevent a fully positive rating. Most significantly, we had a very negative check in experience, whereby we were given instructions to access the key to the apartment. The problem was the key would not open the door. It turns out the wrong key was placed in the lock box. This is an honest mistake, however, the support to address this was non existent. We were unable to get anyone to help resolve this simple issue for about 2 hours. This impacted our first evening in Whitby significantly and added much unnecessary stress. We were also not provided any compensation for this very bad service. Second issue is the carpet upon entering the apartment was stained in two places. This is a very elegant apartment so this is a very unfortunate first impression when walking in the door.
