„Schöne, grosse Zimmer, aber sehr bescheidene, fast spartanische Einrichtung. Z.B. keine WC-Bürste(!!!!), kein Kleenex, keine Hygienebeutel, kein body lotion, kein Schrank für Kleider etc. Zimmerservice nur auf Verlangen. Restaurant: gute Auswahl, schön, gepflegt. Steak medium rare bestellt, well done erhalten(!!!). “

„What a suprise , I don’t think the this hotel was advertised well enough, a beautiful property in large well maintained grounds, friendly , polite staff, good breakfast and so clean, nowhere was overlooked, I will recommend and definitely come again.“

„ Zimmer sind schlicht aber sauber, leichter check in und out. - Fliese im Bad kaputt, Schimmelflecken an der Decke, Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen ,sehr rücksichtslose Nachbarn “

„Parkplatz war dabei,Frühstück sehr gut 👍, sehr ruhige Hotelgegend, schöner Spaziergang runter zum Hafen, gibt da einiges zusehen.“

„Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.“

„Great hostel, amazing location. Very clean even though the property is older.“

„We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings“

„Amazing little place right in the heart of Whitby. Location is perfect, very clean and very quiet. Staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again“

„Room was totally fine. Bed was comfy. Given tea and coffee. I brought my own little lamp as the only light is the main one. Toilets and shower are external and pretty run of the mill. Nice selection of beers and ales in the pub. Breakfast was nice“

„Although a comfortable stay a few things were not to the standard that would warrant the room price. 1) only one pack of biscuits for two people not good 2) a significant number of cobwebs around the corners of the room, ceilings and floors 3) towels had marks on them 4) for a two night stay I would have expected the room to be cleaned, towels to be changed, clean coffee cups and coffee/biscuits replenished 5) no breakfast provided, I have stayed in cheaper places with breakfast provided. „Friendly, clean and beautifully situated hotel. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Excellent food, but beware the huge portions! Highly recommended.“

„Great location. Plenty of room. Good views from room. Everything you need in thus apartment. Well priced. Central for all the bars and restaurants literally 2 mins walk away also not far from train station..we parked in the Marina car park which was about a 10 min walk. All good. Thanks for a pleasant stay“
