« We very much enjoyed staying at this property on our couple's getaway. It's situated on a wooded private property with lovely walks just behind the cabin. The hot tub was great. The amenities we needed were all there (knives, grill lighter, paper towels, dish soap, etc). The location is stellar with state parks, caving opportunities, and Michelin star equivalent dining in Chattanooga. The host is lovely to have a chat with, very responsive, and just all-around great. I highly recommend. »

« We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. The hosts were beyond sweet and helpful. We walked into this cottage and instantly felt comfortable because it just felt like "home". There's really no better way to describe it. We didn't feel like we were staying at a rented space, but more so coming to visit home away from home. Our kids loved the space (and the toys / puzzles!) and it truly had everything we needed! You can tell there was so much thought, intention and love poured into...

« This was an amazing property. Everything was clean and inviting. Our kitchen had everything we could possibly need. They left a notebook with recommendations and instructions. Our dogs transitioned well and loved to walk around the lake. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area. Our only issue was the hard mattress. Neither of us could sleep on that. I suggest taking something cushy, like a thick sleeping bag. »

« Beautiful place, clean inside and outside! The communication was great too! We were looking for Mountain View’s and some relaxation, and we were not disappointed!! Oh and the breakfast is Breakfast! Not muffins & coffee, First day we had blueberry cream cheese pancakes with eggs & sausage links! Second day was a spinach quiche! And they make their own sweet cream for coffee!! Hubby & I give Timberroot cottages a 10, a 5 stars and a big ol thumbs up! »
