The property was great for our large group of girls and the girls absolutely loved the house! Communication was great and we were provided with anything we could have needed. Great large kitchen to cook for a crowd and plenty of areas to hangout! The only thing to note would be that the upstairs gets quite warm in the summer months as with a lot of historical homes. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Comfortable house for a family stay!

Pictures and descriptions are very accurate! Well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds, great for a family stay. We enjoyed walking over to a baseball game. Would stay again!

We give our highest recommendation!

We had a wonderful weekend with extended family at this VRBO rental. The house was lovely, thoughtfully well-appointed, and clean, with very comfortable beds and plenty of towels for our large party. Two large seating areas for meals and the big front sitting room provided ample and comfortable opportunity for extended family conversations and games. Alex, our host, was very helpful, prompt, and responsive via text to all of our communications. Having access to two refrigerators was also very helpful for our needs. Thank you very much, Alex! We would not hesitate to stay here again if we had reason to need similar accommodation in Wichita in the future.

Great House and Amazing Communication

The house was beautiful and worked well for our 3 families. The property manager was amazing and responded to our requests in near real time (cushions for the outside chairs / emails). Location was great. Highly recommend for anyone needing a larger house.

Ladies Trip

The house was perfect for our bowling trip to Wichita. We had 10 ladies and the accommodations were perfect for us. There was plenty of room for all of us. We will stay again if we bowl next year.

Family Weekend

Our family enjoyed our stay in this home. We had plenty of room, and several appreciated the pool table. Our host was helpful and quick to respond to us. The home was very clean and welcoming.

Very Nice House

We were vey pleased with Delano Deluxe. Using all 6 bedrooms it fit our family needs for gathering for Thanksgiving and an early Christmas. Alex responded quickly to us. Heater wasn’t working when we arrived but she had someone there to fix it within a short time. The beds and bedding were very comfortable.

Lovely home

I loved this home - very authentic. They provide a lot of little extras like trash bags and basic seasoning. Great fluffy towels and comfortable bedding. We visited when decorated for Christmas and very tastefully done! Would highly recommend the decorations if an option. Thank you for letting us stay.

Everything was Perfect!

We stayed in a beautifully restored home in an older historic neighborhood for a family reunion. There was plenty of room for our family, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the house was spotless. We didn’t use the back patio, but there was a fire pit that would’ve been perfect for gathering in the evening. If we need room for a large group in the future, we’ll definitely be back!

Perfect House for our Family Reunion!!

Fabulous old home beautifully updated and nicely equipped. Ten of us stayed for three days and had plenty of room in the living room to sit around and talk. Like it says in the VRBO listing, the floors do creek, but want really an issue. Would love to stay there again ❤️

Wichita family reunion

We enjoyed our four evening stay in the Delano home. We did a little cooking in the beautiful, well equipped kitchen but also sampled fun nearby restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and we all felt safe.

Wonderful stay

The house was great! We came for an extended weekend stay. There was 15 of us and we had enough space. The wraparound porch, backyard and dining space was our favorite features of this home. The house was very close to everything we wanted to do. The host communicated well and responded in a timely manner to any questions or needs we had. I would definitely recommend this home and we would stay here again.

Beautifully remodeled older home

This property was as described, easy access, well appointed kitchen and baths. Plenty of space for a large family. We had 15 people and everyone had a bed to sleep in. Really the perfect size for us. Quiet neighborhood. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Great Stay

The house was fantastic and fully equipped for many people and Alex was very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and the size of the house. The wrap around porch and backyard seating area was great too. Thanks for a wonderful stay at a really sad time for the family.

Lovely House

This was a very short stay to visit a some friends in our old hometown. The house was quite lovely. Since most of our time was visiting, we did not fully immerse ourselves into the house...meaning we cooked No meals; but we did warm up a few leftovers and, of course, we had our share of evening snacks. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. With our group of ten, we were very comfortable in the house. There was lots of room to spread out when one needed some quiet time. As one might imagine, the kitchen and dining table were our usual gathering location either just before breakfast to review the plan for the day or in the evening to relive the memories of our youth. The house is in a lovely setting. A couple of folks took time for a short walk to Friends University. The house is conveniently located to US highway 54 and you can get around easily. Wichita is not that large and since I lived in Wichita in my youth, then I knew exactly where to go. All of us now live in significantly larger cities and the running joke is that 'it is only 6 minutes away' regardless of where you are going :) I recommend this house and will check availability the next time we are in Wichita.

Fantastic!

Loved our stay! The location was great, we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and there was plenty of parking. House is beautifully updated with everything we needed. Plenty of room for the whole family, and the kids loved having extra room in the basement. The porch is perfect for Morning coffee. Great communication from the hosts.
