The house was very clean and well maintained, and it was clear that the owners take good care of the property. The only minor issue was a slight old-house smell when we first walked in, but after being inside for a little while, it wasn’t very noticeable. Overall, we had a great stay.

Gut: Lage
We enjoyed our stay overall the house had updated appliances in a modern look that made it feel comfortable and inviting we especially enjoyed the towel warmer. It was a nice touch. The landscaping could use a little cleanup and maintenance but aside from that we had a pleasant experience enjoyed our stay there

Clean, Quiet , Peaceful and calm environment. We stayed for a basketball tournament instead of a hotel for our family. There was a concern with the host showing up unannounced with paper towels. We did mention the day prior how we needed to get paper towels nor did I request any. If I would have thrown in tissue as well.

The rooms were very clean. We really liked the open space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. We liked the location of the bnb a lot. There were plenty of shops in Derby to visit and if we wanted to go to any shops in Wichita it was only a 15 to 20 minute drive. We also liked that the bnb was in what seemed to be a safe and calm part of town.

Great central location in quiet neighborhood

This house was clean, nicely finished. It worked perfect for me and my friends in town for a few days (reunion). Beds were comfortable, lots of natural lighting in the home, well lit at night, and plenty of space to meet our needs.

The Host was very pleasant and quick to respond, at first. The night we arrived, we discovered one of the beds were broken and unusable. Then our kids mentioned another bed felt off, and we discovered that one was broken as well. The Host stated he was unaware the one bed was broken and thanked me for letting him know. Then absolutely no response when I informed him of the 2nd bed. Two broken beds is completely unacceptable. And someone had to have known they were broken prior to our stay. Also, there is only one bathroom with zero counter space and no racks or hooks to hang towels after you use them. It is also important to note, there is a natural slant in the tub, and all of us had to catch ourselves every time we got it.

Short stay!

We were just in town for the night for an early check in surgery time. The house was in a quiet neighborhood, updated and clean! Google maps took me to the house next door, but John was quick to respond and guide me to the correct house :)

Lipstick on a pig

This place looks super cute online, but it’s a dump and the host never messages you back. There are so many places on the house where there is something wrong. One bedroom had a broken ceiling fan and the bed broke out first night. The bed didn’t have the proper screws or any screws to hold the frame together so the mattress went through the frame. Communication was terrible. We booked for 2 nights and the host sent us a message after the first night thanking us for staying. I messaged back saying we were going to be there for 2 nights and never got a reply. I then messaged the host about the bed breaking and that the thermostat was dying. Never heard back. When it was the morning of our departure the cleaning lady sat outside for quite sometimes while I was loading stuff up to leave. I felt so rushed with her just sitting there. The house is falling apart. The paint is peeling in several areas, the porch is unsafe, the game table is broken, and several other things. It was not a good stay.
