« This place is gorgeous! Every aspect of our stay was outstanding. The staff is kind, courteous, and very helpful. Access to the gardens made for a beautiful morning walk. We added on the dinner package, which came with two entrees and a bottle of wine and it was fabulous! They have live music every night in their lounge which was also really lovely. We can't wait to come back. »

« Staying at the Independence was a great experience. It’s a lovely hotel with a great staff. And the area can’t be beat. You can walk downtown, to the river, to the park. The rooftop patio is beautiful and my kids and I saw the osprey nest AND got to watch the osprey leaving the nest and returning. Shout out to Kathryn (the one who spells her name with a k and y) at the front desk. She had infinite patience with me and with my children! »
