Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, the property appeared to have not been cleaned at all—the front door was completely unlocked for anyone to walk in to, the beds were unmade, towels were wet in the bathtub, and the dishwasher was still full of dishes, and the floors were covered in crumbs and food. We tried repeatedly to contact the host but were unable to get a response for OVER 48 HOURS.While the host ultimately agreed to issue us a refund, the lack of communication was extremely frustrating. Had we arrived to find the door locked, we would have had no way to access the property or reach anyone for assistance.We appreciate that the refund was resolved, but overall, this was a very stressful experience and not what we expected when booking a vacation rental. We hope future guests have a better experience and that the communication and cleaning process are improved.

Property was comfortable for a family, however a couple of misses that could improve the property. One bedroom was missing bedding and minimal towels. Windows and molding need repair/replacement. One bedroom was missing locks on both windows (there was wood to prevent from opening from outside- however unsafe for children). Hardwired fire alarm was not intact. Scuff marks on walls that can be easily scrubbed and/or painted. The place was clean but the property needed a once over (spiderwebs, wasp nests on exterior of entryway). **Also be aware that the neighbor has roosters and will crow everyday from 0430-0530 for about 30 minutes. The bedroom closest to the roosters needs insulation and window replacement to help ease that noise**.6.5/10 that can easily could be improved to an 8.5 with above fixes. The roosters is not the owners fault but renters need to be aware.

Thr property was as advertised. Few hints for the host….There were no hand towels or kitchen towels. Asked that the dishes be put in DW but there was no DW detergent (so I just ran them thru a rinse), mildew in hallway bathroom tub, the hallway bathroom door does not latch. Sent text to host twice to request early check in but never received a reply. The property was adequate and would stay again.
