« It is unusual to stay in a partially used hotel under extensive renovation, like visiting a ghost town. Even so, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym is fantastic. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are competent and friendly. The pool—the part in use—is great. »

« The room was clean and quite nice. The staff was very kind. We tried the Friday fried fish and it was one of the best we've ever eaten. But we were very disappointed with the breakfast... We didn't know that a Continental breakfast is just a small and not various one. So, just be aware, do not have more expectations than cereals, fruit and bagels... oh, and if you don't drink coffee but tea, no chance to find it :( »

« It looks recently updated. Couldn’t get any closer to the lake, and every room has a lake view for the sunset. Rooms close to each other, but all the other guests were nice and quiet. Good beach nearby. »

« The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

« I was unsure that you could get to the other lakes on the chain. The little river (in some areas) is a little shallow but I was able to take my 17 1/2 foot fishing boat to all the lakes. We had a good time. Thank you »
