« Frances was more accommodating than any host we’ve encountered in any country. She met us upon arrival, explained a few things, made two restaurant reservations for us, changed one on the day of, provided directions, rebooted internet immediately, and left cream for our coffee. She even had fresh flowers throughout the house. Her place is a perfect location to sit and watch all the port and harbor activity, walk to several restaurants and cafes, but easy to take tunnel into Christchurch....

« We enjoyed our stay at this property and found everything to be very tidy, clean and neat. The property was in a great location, to access everywhere in Christchurch city and the street was lovely and quiet. Communication was fantastic from the property owner. My husband did find the beds firmer than he preferred. The only thing that let this property down is not being told before we arrived that the laundry was outside. We had to walk around the side of the house to access it and got wet...

« Very clean, modern, with lots of well thought out details. Appreciated having a washer and an outdoor line for our woolens and sports gear. Street parking was never an issue. Easy walk to breakfast (loved Luciano’s!), the park, the Avon… The plug-in air freshener gave me a headache, but the space aired out quickly once we turned it off. »
