« I had to stay in Shropshire overnight and managed to get a room here. What a lovely surprise this was. The property is situated in beautiful surroundings and quiet countryside. The host Rebecca is simply wonderful. I received a warm welcome and a speedy check in. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I left feeling fresh and well rested. »

« Perfect for an overnight stay. Staff were very helpful and polite. Great value in a convenient setting. Huge restaurant on site with good food and helpful staff. Both hotel and restaurant have changed hands recently. Don't let that put you off. Grab yourself a bargain. »

« Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. « As a solo female traveller, I really like this hotel. It’s basic, but clean and friendly and I feel very safe. As it is a training centre, there are lots of groups of people, but also other solo travellers. I probably wouldn’t use this hotel for a socks trip, but for work it is ideal. Dinner and breakfast are good, it is a buffet style and included in the price. I like this a lot, as generally I will not have dinner alone, but here, it is perfectly acceptable to do so, without standing...
