„Everything was clean and neat. Just as expected. What a nice little house in a quiet rural area. Seems like very close access to the Katy trail. We had three kids and five adults but with all the beds, basement space and foldout couches, it could have easily slept 13. More if you bring an air mattress. This was perfect for our overnight stay for a family wedding. The host was very responsive to all my pestering messages. “

„Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. „Good communication from host. We stayed at this property while visiting family in the area. It was very comfortable for us. Both bedrooms have comfortable kind beds, one firmer than the other, which was perfect for us. Fenced back yard was handy for our dog to be able to go out. Dames park is just a few minutes away by car (less than 5) and we went there nearly every day to walk our dog. Our only suggestion would maybe be a more comfortable sofa. „Small farm town feel. Nice job renovating the location. If you’re looking at cooking or doing in the kitchen, they have everything you need there. Lighting in the bedroom throughout the night. It is pretty light with the street lights as there are no shades so if your used to sleeping in dark rooms that will not happen here. Very historic building we were not there very much other than to just sleep.“
