We loved staying here! We had a big group of friends and there was plenty of space to hang together and also find our own little corners throughout the day. We enjoyed staying in the property, went on a couple beautiful hikes and the Soave had everything we were looking for and needed.

Girls Weekend

Annual girls weekend. We meet up from 3 different states to bond again over a long weekend. There was lots of room to hang out in the living room and deck. Kitchen had lots of plates, cups, utensils and pots and pans. A couple things that needed improvement was cleaning the kitchen and bathroom floors and outside of the refrigerator was smeared up. The downstairs bathroom had no body wash in the bottle and the conditioner bottle had the pump broke off. The shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom was way too long. Otherwise a nice home with lots of amenities to do on the resort.

Family wedding get together

We had an excellent time hanging out before and after the wedding at your lovely property. We eat, did puzzles, went wine tasting, rode bikes on the Katy Trail, walked to the Innsbrook market and were surprised to find Starbucks. Also used some of the trails in the neighborhood. The wildlife was a joy to see. We did use the blower several times trying to clear the outdoor cushions of pollen. Perhaps covers would help that. But we had pretty much everything we needed for a long weekend together. We had 12 adults and 1 infant. Thanks for your help with our one added person. Had to add a last minute babysitter to take care of the infant while we were attending the wedding.

House was very large and accommodated our group of 10 very well. The house had everything we needed during our stay. Access to the community pool was also nice. We would return again.

This house was very nice, and the manager was responsive, but there were a few things that were annoying. First, the basement was very cold, and the thermostat was not working, so I had to message the manager. He replied there were heaters in the rooms to use, but in the morning, my friends who stayed in a couple of the rooms said their heaters were not working, and they had to get extra blankets. Second, we wanted to play ping pong, but we couldn’t find ping pong balls anywhere. I had to message the host again to find out where the ping pong balls were. Third, we could not find the remote control for the tv in the basement. There were a couple of remote controls upstairs (why would the remote control for the downstairs tv be upstairs?), but we tried one of those on the downstairs tv. The tv turned on, but we couldn’t get it to play anything. At this point it was too late to messsge the manager, so those who wanted to watch tv downstairs could not. At lastly, and this is the most annoying, the form I filled out asked me to list the number of people staying in the house and the names of the adults (anyone over 16) which is what I did. Two people came late. Each was under the age of 16 and was being dropped off by their parent. The people at the front gate would not let them in because their names were not on the list. I had to drive to the front gate TWICE in the middle of dinner to pick up these two guests. Overall, it was good, but these things were annoying.

Family Fun!

Great house with everything you need for a large group gathering. We had 18 people staying at the house and ended up having a few guests visit for a BBQ. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and homey. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was great and had every tool we could have needed and had plenty of kids plates and cups which is rare in rentals! The outdoor space was lovely and well maintained. The owner was very responsive before, during, and after the trip and has been helpful with getting us an item we left behind in the house. Had a few issues that were no fault of the owners, and the owner was very helpful in resolving the issues. Would return to this house and recommend it to anyone!

Family get away

House was very large in addition to the outdoor space. Very nice decor and furnishings. Only challenges were the gas grill would not heat properly and it was difficult to change the temperature in the basement. The lower level bedrooms needed a lot of blankets. Other than that it was all great. We would return to this rental.

Our 2nd stay…even better than the first!

Last summer’s stay was amazing! Afterward, I shared a few suggestions with Bryan for the kitchen to better accommodate large families like ours. Every single suggestion I made was completed before we arrived for our 2nd stay…and more! We so appreciate all the extras added, in particular the lawn chairs and canopy tent, the ping pong table, and large tv in the basement! It's hard to find a home large enough to accommodate our large family, but this one is perfect! We hope to come back next year.

Beautiful but not very clean

The inside was ok, but the patio, deck, and gas grill were very dirty. It honestly looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was dried food stuck on the patio table. Everything was covered with a layer of dust. I took a broom and rag and cleaned the best I could but I did not pull the weeds from the landscaping. My grandson cleaned the gas grill. A couple of hours later we could use the outside. The facing on the bath tub kept falling off. There were only 4 washcloths and we were 12 people. There were two dish towels and no dish clothes. I reached my daughter before she left and she brought some. We really enjoyed the beautiful home and would love to do it again but will have to reconsider renting this home again. Sorry.

Spacious Home

This property was spacious and perfect for what we were looking for. The many bedrooms accommodated our group and having a table that seats 10 for all to have meals at together was wonderful. The communication with the property owner/manager was good. Bryan was very responsive prior to and during our stay. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Great home for a large family getaway!

Lovely home for a family get together! Loved watching all the deer (and 2 baby fawns) on the property! Nice outdoor spaces for playing games and hanging out!
