Das Yanchep Inn liegt mitten im national park . Abends und morgens Känguruhs vor der Tür und diverse Vögel. Ein Wasserkocher im Zimmer wäre nicht schlecht.

Kängurus fast im Zimmer
Inmitten des Nationalparks liegt dieses schon alte Motel mit neuerem Gebäuden separat. Morgens und Abends Kängurus vor dem Zimmer und auch sonst nie weit weg. Essen im Restaurant geht so - Steaks können sie aber nicht wirklich... beide medium / rare bestellt waren komplett durch... Die Betten si d etwas durchgelegen - da sollten neue Matrazen her. Würden aber wegen der Lage allein schon wieder kommen

Einfache Backpacker Unterkunft
Eine sehr einfache und günstige Unterkunft direkt im Yanchep NP gelegen. Der Komfort ist allerdings auf ein Minimum beschränkt

Nice small motel IN the yanchep national park
We stayed for one night during our trip from perth to Nambung Nationalpark in Yanchep. It is so great, that the Yanchep inn is directly in the park - so you can EVERYTIME see kangaroos and koala bears. Especially in the night you can go inside the park and watch hundreds of kangaroos eating, fighting, jumping around (be aware that there are also spiders). In the morning when we opened our room door a kangaroo was sitting outside. The rooms (or at least ours) was quite old, but you could see that the hotel management is really trying to make the best of it (nicely decorated, made animal figures out of the towels, clean!) The staff is REALLY friendly, they were answering all our questions and you could feel that they are looking after their customers. We also stayed for dinner (there was live musik playing) and breakfast - also really good. Would defenitly recommend everybody to stay there!!

Tolles Hotel im Yanchep Nationalpark
Bei der Anreise am Abend von freilaufenden Kängurus begrüßt, die überall grasen. Extrem freundliches Personal.

Beautiful location and staff were lovely. Room was extremely clean and had an amazing view. Being in a park we totally expected to wake up early to the noise of the birds and wildlife, but room was super sound proof.

Great overnight stay in National Park
Having visited Yanchep National Park previously, I waa keen to stay overnight to benefit from seeing the animals at dusk & dawn. It was well worth it for that alone. Loved the tranquility of the late evening/early morning. So to me the setting here is everything. Standard motel style room was exactly that - standard. I chose this option as I prefer a walk-in shower to one over bath (it was great) as was the balcony overlooking the lake. Top floor is best for views. Bed was huge & very comfortable. No hangers in wardrobe but otherwise a functional room for one or two night stay.

Stayed for one night as a stopover on our way further up north. It’s a nice authentic inn set in the heart of the beautiful Yanchep national park with abundance of wildlife at every turn. Staff were great, breakfast was decent. Rooms are quite basic and need updating - as is the case with many hotels in Australia but its good value for money and if you don’t mind the basic rooms I would fully recommend.

Not bad for the price, great setting.
The stay wss fine, motel style family room that was past its best but perfectly functional. The bed was very comfy. As it is in the national park it was in a lovely setting, with wallabies all over the place. Decent bar and restaurant, staff very friendly and attentive.

Yanchep Inn is incredibly tired- actually exhausted!! After returning to this property after a few years I was shocked at how run down it was. Gardens which were beautiful are now not maintained, rooms feel dirty & so old. The food in the restaurant was fabulous but now almost inedible! It’s such a shame.

What a magic place. Like stepping back in time. Old fashioned hospitality. Happy staff and delicious food. The location amazing, opened the door and greeted by kangaroos and bright blue little birds. Definitely coming back.

It's located in the National Park so entry pass to the Park is required ($15 per car). Building is really dated. The building with the hotel rooms is at a separate location from the building that says Yanchep Inn in the ads. Between this annex and the Yanchep inn, it is really dark once sunsets. Facilities in the room were mixed, some dated (carpet was badly stained, beds are soft), some new (linen were new). There was road maintenance on the day we arrived, so we had to park at the bar, bring our luggage about 50m to reach the hotel room in the annex. Hotel staff and bar staff are the same. So in order to check in at 4pm, I had to wait for the bartender to finish her work, then she brought us to the hotel side of the bar to check us in. Restaurant/bar on site so we could eat there. Outside the building was the high point of our stay. We could walk along the lake. kangaroos were outside our room. The boardwalk with koalas was just 20-30m away.

A great location within the Yanchep National Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A little dated now, but clean. A shame that you still have to pay Park entrance fees even if you are just going to the Inn.
