Nice hotel in good central location. Rooms are quirky and live up to their name. Staff are great and try hard. The restaurant let’s it down a bit, it is trying so hard to be a ‘Fine Dining’ Restaurant, however the prices keep out of the locals and it is probably not big enough for large corporations to use. I think most people eat there the first night then venture out into the surrounding area thereafter. That said it is a nice restaurant with a pleasing ambience. It really should be doing well and the staff do their utmost .The breakfast, which is all cooked to order which is good but they must sort out the basics - toast should be done in a toaster not a dry frying pan! Instead of being brown and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, you get something As white as it started and rock hard all the way though, luckily though you only get a quarter of a slice at a time!
