Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
Expedia shows that I paid a higher room rate than typical for my 6 night stay; so technically my hosts received more than another day's worth of rent.
Yet, after I left, host demanded more money " My Cleaners need an extra time to clean the hair."
The amenities were dreadful. Dilapidated entrance. 5 pm check-in. No elevator, dingy stairs, small 3rd floor one bedroom apartment where hosts stayed in the bedroom and both ends of the living room were draped to create "private space". Listening to hosts' activities was unavoidable. Rotted balcony exposed to 4 lanes of traffic. When I was out, the room would get hot and stuffy. Inside, the soundscape included a noisy fridge, and my noisy air con. The bathtub had no non-slip mat or grab bar, the fan was filthy, and there was mold above the soap tray. Rather than normal bath towels, I was issued thin white terry multi-purpose towels. One pilled bottom sheet, no top sheet, one quilt. No linen changes. No evidence that my floor was swept. Two hangers on a clothes rack.
I'm a quiet, tidy senior, who went out from 10:30 to 10 pm each day. I did not find out the address until paying the non-refundable amount which included a cleaning fee.
