« Horrible. When we got there day of for our booking. They didnât send us a code for the door and we were locked out for hours. It took the neighbors to contact them for them to call us and tell us that our side lost power in the morning yet they didnât want to message us and let us know before hand and wasted our time. So we were searching for hours for a hotel to stay at because most of them couldnât fit a group our size.Also the address on the booking is not the actual address it was the house...

« First night was great. Nothing to say, I was so tired of my flight that I slept like a baby.
Second night was not as great as some drunk neighbors across the hallway were being really loud, talking, cursing, slamming doors every now and then all night long. »
« At first it started off rocky. Thought I could check in at 3pm although I told them I would arrive around 5pm. Thatâs on me. Long story short 1st room I got was not serviced got the 2nd room real quick. Overall it gives you a college experience with the bathroom and showers outside the room. I enjoyed it. »
« I read the mixed reviews and chose Macaw Guesthouse anyway - I am glad that I did. It was a reasonable option in expensive New York City and it was as described. Charming hosts who went out of their way to welcome me and ensure that I was comfortable. Short walk to transportation options and dining options nearby. Highly recommend and would stay again. »
