Very nice and spacious cabin, but could use some TLC and better cleaning.
On the day of arrival we found mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinet in and around the cookware. Initially thought these were old, but found droppings on day 2. We hand cleaned all the cookware and dishes before use after this discovery. Water pressure in kitchen sink is terrible and takes forever to warm up. Dishwasher is small, dated, and not ideal. Make sure you run the hot water in the sink before starting the dishwasher or the washer pods will not dissolve.
The property manager, Steve, was very responsive to email. His team dropped mouse traps off for us and I did finally trap the mouse on our last night. This is a mountain cabin so understand this does happen, but given the nightly price and cleaning fee, I am disappointed with this situation.
The master shower drain backed up with water. Steve sent maintenance out promptly who snaked the drain that same evening. Appreciate the quick action!
Really appreciate the communication with Steve, but would have like to see some compensation offered on the cleaning fee for all these issues in a 4 night stay.
