I didn’t like that the place look clean but it stinks really bad(cat odor) the sheets were stained i wasn’t sure if linen was clean or dirty.

My daughter paid for a room with a queen bed I ended up in one of their cheapest rooms the double bed was uncomfortable none of the sockets would hold a charger in so it was hard to charge my phone the customer service were rude and disrespectful it was noisy in the halls and the room above mine inconsiderate of the ppl below them all night long they charge too much money and having to deal with all that .

The property is unkept, the doors outside are busted so they dont lock closed. Amyone can come and go. The two people i talked to at yhe counter were less than helpful. The continental breakfast is a joke. Coffee, toast, bagel, yogurt. No cream cheese, no juice, no creamers. The room was a double bed room on the second floor. The door was open when we got there, the maintenance person tried to open the door then apologized and told ua he had work to do. The hot water was in and out. A lot of the people there looked like they live there.

Bad: This property smells cigarettes throughout the corridors and even inside the non-smoking rooms. My room had a bunch of broken stuff that needed replacement: The chair was missing one of the roller wheels. The lamp was missing one of the prongs, impossible to plug into the outlet, so had no light in the room at night. The door had some sketchy repair work (they seem to have closed a hole by nailing a wooden panel). And the coffee machine was missing its lid, and was questionable in terms of being clean. The bathroom was awkward where the faucet was clearly replaced with a non-compatible type and installed in a hacky way (that left a hole on the counter and made faucet off-center relative to the sink). Also there was no soap in the room. The continental breakfast was terrible with only bagel and/or plain muffin as the only options (don't expect peanut butter, jam or waffle). They were also out of coffee at 8am, and I could not get any. Good: The mattresses were on the firm side, which worked good for me. The shower, and hot water were good.

I'm going to be perfectly honest. We almost checked out as soon as we checked in. Immediately upon check in we could smell Marijuana eminating from one of the rooms. Our choice was carry all our stuff to the third floor or take the room on the first floor someone had smoked in. The smell wasn't terrible but the curtains had holes in them and the chair in the room had a cigarette burn. There was no screen on the window and someone had removed the device that doesn't allow the window to be opened all the way so if we wanted fresh air we risked leaving the window open and someone possibly entering our room. People kept walking along the back of the hotel which was annoying. There was a big rain storm which is nobody's fault but the drain pipe had a constant tick tick tick due to water dripping all night. Also why only 3 pillows for 2 people? The bed itself wasn't terrible. Baseboards were dirty also. It could be a decent place but it seems not a lot of attention to detail. Deluxe Continental breakfast? If that's deluxe I'd hate to see what a regular one is like. Also would it hurt to get a new toilet seat?

First night (Thursday) relatively quiet room on 1st floor close to lobby. "Deluxe" Continental Breakfast consisted of bagel, frozen waffle, toast or cereal - no fruit, no hot entre. 2nd and 3rd nights (Saturday & Sunday mornings) forget about sleeping in past 6:30am - Rooms have minimal sound insulation with bare floors, so every foot-fall, toilet flush, and shower spray from rooms above are amplified. Breakfast selection was even skimpier. Front desk staff was sympathetic, but could do nothing other than suggest moving to a third floor room (no elevator) and none were available on Saturday night.

At 1:00 am water was leaking in a steady stream from the bathroom above our room and we had to move rooms. The new room had a shower that did not drain, water was leaking from the tub faucet and linens had stains on them

The staff was great. The facility itself could use a little work. It has the architectural foundation of a great stay, but needs some repairs. Although we were in a non-smoking room, the whole place smelled like smoke, so it was difficult to sleep. The bathroom lacked a toilet paper holder, so I suppose that's why there was no toilet paper; we had to go back downstairs to ask for some. The phone was also not working. The A/C was an attraction, but we could not use it because it smelled moldy; we ended up opening the window to cool and air out the place, though the bug screen did have a hole in it. Things that we liked: has a pool, has a laundry room, staff is readily available at all times of the day, pet-friendly, vending machine, breakfast is provided, microwave and nicely sized fridge already in the room.

It had no phone cord whatsoever. The lady at the desk didn’t seem to care at all just shrugged her shoulders. No elevator just harsh stairs wich isn’t horrible just inconvenient. Your had to either slam the door or really shove it closed or the door would stay open. It’s not the best area in town but it’s not the worst it’s by god places a couple discount clothing stores a bale salon. I wouldn’t say I’d never Stay there again but I’d never choose to. Overall Cheap stay cheap play cheap quality.

Sutter inn has made a termoundously good turn around being new owners or management the whole team is doing great they have helped our family feel comfortable enough to bring our kids here to stay until we find permanent residence.if your traveling thru or a local needing a place to lay your head this place is terrific .. but take note also there by the policy rules they don't except drama nor loitering it's a place of business and for customers to feel safe and secure as they stay with in the hotel and I'm giving Sutter inn and all there employees a high five on making theses changes to not only benefit residents but also the companys foundation of professionalism

After complaint the room was inspected by our maintenance person and then by two experts from our pest control company but they did not find anything. We always try our best to keep this place pest free and clean . We are again sorry for any inconvenience.
