« The lighting in the TAKA tent consisted of one light bulb which did not emit much light. Entry to the site had numerous pot holes making it a rough ride for vehicles. There was absolutely nothing to do if you weren’t bushwalking or asleep; no open air movie nights, quiz nights, etc. No sporting equipment for children. Poor road signage and a lack of lighting throughout the camp. We left a day early. »

« Because the cabin I booked was unavailable, I got upgraded to a better cabin. The park is in a fairly good location. Its a bit of a walk into the town centre but its closer to attractions like the QANTAS Founders Museum and the Stockman's Hall of Fame. The cabin I was upgraded to was self-contained, clean, comfortable, with a modern shower and kitchen. « The kids had a blast! Great staff, always happy to chat and help. Beautiful setting and surrounds, we absolutely loved our bushwalking in this area. Breathtaking flora and fauna. A wonderful trip back in time where kids can be kids and families can truly relax. The accommodation was old and run down - the 3 air con units wouldn't suffice in Summer.
