« My stay at the Hampton inn Covington was disappointing. Overall, I had doubts with regards to the cleanliness of the room (sheets, towels and shower). The water temperature was inconsistent all through the stay. »

« Patrick was a wonderful host. He was extremely prompt at replying to our requests. The apartment was within walking distance to the Homestead and was as described. It was the perfect size for 4 people. »

« Very clean. Close to Homestead (10 min walk?). Full kitchen, big dining table suitable for working, comfortable TV room, comfortable bedrooms. Minor issue with hot water not working in rear 2nd floor shower (worked fine in other baths). Only big issue was the rear door to house/kitchen was not lockable, which is a security issue, and the lack of communications from the manager when we raised it. She texted regularly and well initially (very accessible), but after the door lock problem was...

« Everything was perfect. I've never seen a VRBO rental that was so thoughtfully and completely appointed. There was seemingly no detail, no matter how small, that escaped Gary and Pamela's attention. For example, they supplied umbrellas and a first aid kit (not that we needed it). We regularly rent via VRBO and I can say without exaggeration, I've never seen hosts that sought to think of everything a guest might need and still seek feedback on how to improve further! Great experience! »

« I would've given the property a higher rating, but the outside property is not what you're going to see that's listed in the photo.. the river is beautiful but...I sent the property manager many pictures of issues beginning with the lack of deep cleaning, especially for the kitchen ovens .. the one in the main house looked like it not been cleaned for a very long time..Our nanny found a sock with a substance in one of the drawers in the basement, and my daughter found dirty towels, and socks in...

« Above garage apartment works good for two on Jackson river. River bank is a bit steep at waters edge at property. Easy ride to bike path. Property is shared with other guests who stay in main house and share the driveway and parking area. »
