« I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. Will definitely stay there again without question. »

« Beautiful room, nice staff, clean, lovely bar & outside dining area (short stay, so didn't sample the food apart from breakfast which was fine). Located right on the the beachfront & a 5-10min walk from the town centre. If disabled & coming from either station, get a taxi as it's about a 30 min walk. Lift to all floors of hotel. Only issues were someone setting off the alarm after 1am (smoker?) & some guests being noisy at 3.30am (but only about 10 mins) - post nightclub? Otherwise, great stay....

« We were disappointed by the experience. We were in a sort of prefab building overlooking the car park. The insulation was very poor, both thermal and acoustic. The bathroom tap didn't fit the basin. The electronic shower system didn't work properly, which led to wasted water. The only positive point of the stay was the staff: very friendly and pleasant. »

« We had a great stay at our daughters wedding all the family in one large villa but still felt part of the hotel. Cars come and take you up to the hotel whenever you wish. Or the grounds are beautiful to walk up to the hotel. All the staff we met were amazing »
