« We loved our stay at the cottage! It was right by the beach and super clean! Everyone on the island was very friendly and we felt very welcomed! The coconut bread is amazing, definitely a recommendation! We also did a boat tour with Ida’s son, which was amazing! He was super nice and chill and showed us all the great spots! »

« Miss Ida was very accommodating and runs a beautiful, very clean property. The location is in the hearty of a small, family orientated community that is both warm and welcoming. My front deck overlooked the harbor at Black Point and its crystal clear waters where many sharks, turtles and rays swam by as I sipped my morning coffee. « Only stayed 1 of 5 days. Enough said. We arrived by boat. The host markets use of dock space “next door” at Black Point Yacht Club. Careful: This is a bar with a small dock. On 2 occasions, I caught locals on my boat and another time a local boat left drifting tied to the dock banging into my boat. The power went out 4X the first night and internet was out the entire time. The host had workers living in the house under construction next door. I only found this out by hearing men talking outside...

« The studio is really nice: large, well decorated, comfortable with AC, in a calm area. The place is 3 minutes way (walking) from the beach, 5 minutes from Staniel Cay Yacht Club and about 6 minutes from the convenience store. Anita and Theodore were really helpful and responsive. Theodore very nicely picked us up and dropped us at the airport. They told us who to contact on the island to rent a boat and a golf cart and there are a guide and maps in the studio about things to see / do on Staniel...

« We loved the place and the location — absolutely beautiful. The convenience store and restaurants are about 1 km away on foot. The beach is incredibly beautiful. The only downside: the host’s employee was supposed to pick us up to take us to the airport on our departure day, but never showed up. Fortunately, two girls passed by and offered us a ride. Otherwise, we would have missed our flight. But aside from that, everything was perfect! »

« Rum Punch was as advertised . It’s not fancy, but has everything you need. The A/c in one bed room didn’t work, but was able to be cool enough if all the doors to the other rooms were left open. We particularly enjoyed a few mangoes from their tree. Water pressure in one bath was weak, and you can’t run the washing machine and do dishes/take showers- but allThings that can be worked around. »

« It was a great location with easy access to the beach. We only had a few people visit the beach while we were there. You can float back and forth with the tides. Plenty of towels in bath. You need a golf cart to access restaurants and the store. You do pass the dump on the way to and from the location and planes go straight over the house to land. « The property was as advertised. The property manager was super attentive during our entire stay. It was a great spot to stay with my entire family (total of 10). The house was very spacious and right on the beach. The freshwater pool was great also especially after a day of snorkeling. I would definitely book this house again. »

« This entire experience was amazing. The Island is gorgeous and has a perfect location in the Exumas on the most beautiful sandbar. The staff was fantastic, super accommodating with activities like fishing and snorkeling and bonfires. The food was fantastic with lots of local seafood. Honestly, this place is 11/10 »
