« You get what you pay for. It was very affordable and I can't speak more highly of the staff. Very friendly and helpful. The low review is more about the state of the room and amenities. The rooms did not have an iron/iron board or hair dryer. The ice machine was out of order. The front desk did provide me with an iron but no board and provided me with ice but I had to go to the front desk for them. The toilet did not flush properly and the bedding was stained. But again, you get what you pay...

« We checked in very late on Friday and were greeted by the sweet man at the front desk. He got us checked in quickly and was very kind and accommodating. The room was great. It was clean, cool, and spacious. The property was quiet and also well maintained. Any staff we encountered from the front desk to the cleaning crew were all super friendly and kind. « This was the first time we have stayed in Seadrift and I just wanted it to be nice for our 56th anniversary. But, this rental was not just nice- it was truly exceptional. I was very impressed by: 1) it was a completely separate cabin - did have steps up to porch and main door. 2) it was large and air conditioned and super clean. - had a bedroom first- with king size bed. « We came in very late and had to get up very early for a fishing trip. Breakfast was ready and laid out but we were literally just a few minutes away from when it officially opened the staff member back there was very rude and of course refused us to get breakfast even though it was all right there but he didn't have to be so rude about it! »

« The Room 122 had a broken desk desk chair. I call the office ask for a replacement and he told me thats all they had. No replacement with plenty off vacancy rooms . Nice chairs. So the room had bad spots on the walls. Restroom area paint peeling onthe door of Restroom nasty. Sink area had know light it was broken ask for replacement to lady that clean rooms she did let them know a they came in while i was gone and fix it. She did come everyday to clean my room but i keep it clean my self in...

« Our second time staying here. Wonderful host. The house was clean and accommodating to our family. Plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. We will stay here again when visiting the area. »
