« Unfortunately I cannot give a good review. As soon as we checked in we had a bunch of issues. The AC did not work, the fire alarm went off twice in our room (we did not cook anything or have any smoke-related activity in the room), the TVs did not work, there was dried blood on the bedsheets, the bathtub was dirty and chipped, and there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Upon finally being switched to another room, the ACs and TVs did not work either. When leaving the resort the second night...

« Seems like it would be a nice enough place to stay with the family for a vacation getaway right on a lake. However, we were traveling across I-80 and just needed a place to stay overnight. This was a ways off the highway, so it required some extra driving to get there. The room was okay. It's an old motel that has been renovated but still seems a little tired. »

« Fantastic hotel. Everything was clean , and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel shows it age, but they do a great job keeping everything up to date. Breakfast was your traditional continental breakfast, but tasted great and fresh. The pool was warm and I enjoyed that they keep it open until 10pm. I was able to take a quick dip after dinner. The pool is a heated as well. »

« Hôtel historique (19ème siècle) au centre de la petite et typique ville de Jim Thorpe. Chambre (Deluxe King) vaste, propre plutôt bien équipée avec SdB séparée avec baignoire. La chambre donnait sur la rue donc assez bruyante... même la nuit (passage des éboueurs, traffic tôt le matin). Accueil un peu réservé mais les cookies offerts à l'arrivée sont sympas! Le pub attenant est très sympa et nous avons bénéficié par l'hôtel d'un bon pour un PdJ américain à 7$. »

« They had an extraordinary knowledgeable and polite and good humored staff and the owner Mister Singh was very engaged with his staff and those that are doing the renovations of the building which will coming along very well , just in the time I was there for 3 nights. I would recommend this to anyone , and I will be going back again this summer. »
