« I guess you get what you pay for. I booked two nights but only stayed one. When I arrived, the owner said he needed to go "disinfect" the room — a strange thing to say, and it immediately made me feel like the room was going to be gross. He was in there about two minutes. The room had random mismatched furniture, only a single towel in the bathroom, and comforters stained yellow. The mini-fridge hadn't been cleaned and possibly had mold. « I ended up having to pay a two night stay that I didn't even use because when I canceled with the owner in July for an August date, he didn't inform me that I needed to also call and cancel with the platform until the day of my arrival, and wouldn't accept any responsibility. It's advertised for $125 per night but by the time you're finished with fees and taxes - it's really $250 per night. »

« The property was beautiful. It was remote and the scenery was picturesque. The sound traveled oddly clear over the lake. We could make out distict voices from the house across the way although it was too far to see them. We didn't mind the noise, though. The problem was that there was no wifi, no bath towels, no hand towels, no toilet paper, no paper towels, and no broom. We had to go to the closest walmart 25 minutes away to buy these basic amenities for ourselves. There was a canoe and paddle...

« Very cozy and roomy. We had 3 adults and 2 labs in the space and had plenty of room. The 3 seasons room was convenient for being able to take the dogs out. It was too cold to enjoy it but would stay here again and use it in nicer temps. We loved hearing the chickens and roosters on the property. We met James the first day and he was super friendly and welcoming. Lots of room to walk the dogs on the property. Love the Moon theme and appropriate with us staying over the Wolf Super Moon.
