« It is the only hotel in the area so it’s hard to complain. The air conditioning needs to be upgraded and it almost felt humid in the room. Loved the staff breakfast ended at 9. I have 3 little kids and we came in at 8:55. I apologized and they told us to take our time they keep it open until they don’t see anyone then they close it down. I feel like that should be everywhere considering some people may me late risers in general or night shift work. Parking was fine really no complaint there....

« I have travelled throughout the US and this inn was the BEST I have encountered. The breakfasts were spectacular - cream cheese, apple brioche French toast was one of my favorites! The rooms and gardens also amazing but the real difference was the hospitality given by Leslie! You will not find a better place and you will be longing to go back when you leave!! »

« The room was very clean, staff was very nice. Parking was pretty easy to find. The pool was out of service. The continental breakfast was great. I would stay here again and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable good hotel. Heads up there is no elevator, but the stairs aren’t bad. And it’s only 2 levels tall. »

The host, Ed, was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful—he provided drinking water, butter, milk, and a few other staples, and even surprised us with a delicious carrot cake.It’s an ideal spot to relax with someone you love—whether you’re playing games, grilling, or simply enjoying the peaceful river just steps from the cabin. The hot tub was especially enjoyable at night and made the experience even more special.We’re already planning another trip...

« We loved staying in the Tee Pee at the Morels on the Wabash! It was our first experience camping in several years and we had a great time. We were a little disappointed that the river was very low, so it did not look quite like the pictures advertised; however, we realized that was out of Ed's control. Once the traffic slowed up on the nearby road, it was pretty tranquil with the sounds of the crickets and cicadas and an owl. Overall, it was definitely a wonderful weekend! »
