« Great place to disconnect from stresses of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing lifesyle. Creeks to splash in, river to float, mud puddles to splash in and dirt roads to adventure down. Everyone was so welcoming from liz, bars/restaurants, to the locals. The road up started the adventure and set the tone for getting away from it all. Id call it a primitive setting, no bells, no whistles, but just what we needed. If i did need a bell or whistle, liz would have procided it quickly. Cant say enough...

« Slept "like a log" in this historic, comfy, unique space. Prior to turning off the light, I did some sky gazing as the stars shone brightly in the midnight-blue expanse. »

« This little farmhouse provided all the charm and warmth needed for our weekend stay. We were in for a family wedding and loved this choice for something different! The linens, beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom provided cozy towels, soap and shampoo necessities. The farmhouse was historically old and but inviting. The absolute treat was the breakfasts provided each morning. We LOVED it! The homemade cinnamon and strawberry (from their farm!) muffins were delicious. We also...

« Loved the location and was close to the Rail explorers which was alot of fun. Found a nice little restaurant not too far with friendly folks inside and had a wonderful stay . BTW lovedddd the claw foot tub »

« A great alternative to a hotel room. It’s small, but has all the conveniences you need. The bed was comfy; AC/Heating unit (we used both) worked great; plenty of hot water. Easy check-out. It’s situated at the back of a property where deer come to feed on chestnuts. We watched one deer family for probably hour one evening. True delight. »

« From start to finish we enjoyed everything about our vacation. Steve and Barbara are absolutely the most wonderful hosts we have ever encountered. Barbara saw we were having some issues with our truck upon arrival and showed up quickly to offer a helping hand. Unfortunately we found out the hard way we have a vacuum issue with our 4 wheel drive that made it impossible to make the last 50 yards of the hill to the property but Steve showed up with his tractor to pull us to the top! Again...amazing...

« We had a great time and this little cottage is the cutest and you can tell that they take great pride in their properties. They are very clean, organized, and very well maintained. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you very much!!!!! »

« Our family of 5 had a great stay in the cabin. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the host included many amenities to make us more comfortable, snacks and toiletries made the stay extra special. The cabin is well maintained and well stocked, a great rental for families. »
