„My husband, myself, my sister and our children ages 6-17 stayed here for a relaxing family weekend. This is actually my secone stay here this year! The location is perfect! Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! “

We brought our fur baby and they him a couple welcome treats! Wish it would have been a little easier to walk our dog — no path or trails without walking on the highway Would highly recommend and stay again! “

„This was a fun little cottage perfect for me and a friend to get away for a weekend. The property provided enough space to do activities outside, including a short trail they have around the property as well as enough space to watch movies and play games inside when we weren't out and about doing things in the area. Definitely plan to stay here again if I do more trips to the Mcgregor area. “

„We could not have asked for a better place, very comfortable, spacious, a very welcoming host (even invited us to dinner at his son’s restaurant), but the best part was an amazing property. If you love old farm houses this as good as it gets!We did the Driftless 100 in Elkader and stayed 2 nights maximizing everything from the modern kitchen to the comfy living room & beds to a perfectly placed fire pit to watch the sunset and sip bourbon after the race. “

„We arrived to a clean and tidy house right on the river! The views are amazing. The location is in walking distance to some fun places as well as outdoor activities. A two minute drive will bring you to McGregor, a town with charming shops and dining options. Cross the bridge over to PDC for even more dining and shopping options. A five minute drive in any direction will bring you to excellent hiking and overlook areas!“

„Came to Elkader for a quiet stay, not disappointed. Katherine and Michael were excellent hosts, unit 1 exceptionally clean and cozy. Hotel quality linens, modern unit with homey touches. Loved Michael’s breakfast in the morning. Ate dinner at St. Olaf Tavern, would recommend, short drive from Elkader. One block to Turkey River, nice areas to sit along the river. Elkader has other good restaurant options right in town.“

„From a nice stroll on Main Street to the river views, this penthouse was a nice getaway location. Welcoming community with small town shops. The eat in kitchen was well stocked with needed utensils. The bathroom was small but covered our needs. I would recommend this location for 4 people. We enjoyed our weekend escapade. “
