« This place was interesting. We spent four days here and honestly really loved it but there are some pros and cons.
PROS:
-excellent location with a grocery store around the corner and just a 3 minute walk to Cruz bay
-room was spacious
-restaurant was OUTSTANDING
-the whole staff made you feel like family and some guy even gave us some bananas he grows himself that was cool

« After a 5-day stay over on St. Thomas for my wife and I's honeymoon, we continued on to St. John and Gallows Point. As if our honeymoon couldn't get any better: enter the Gallows Point resort. Check in was incredibly easy, the property was immaculate (there was some construction on some of the residences occurring during our stay, but we didn't notice and were not disturbed at all by any of it), and our specific second story villa overlooking the bay was a sight to see every morning and night....

« The views were beautiful and walking distance to town. The room was clean but our room was unfinished. For example, windows with no curtains and a slider that only had a partial curtain and didn’t fully close. The neighbors got a show every night (and not by choice) Also our water was cut off -twice- but they quickly fixed it. The pool area was hit or miss with too many day-passers drowning the vibe.
When you arrive - expect to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs. The food was excellent...

« Fantastic place to stay. The managers were so nice, they were always nearby to answer questions and make sure we were having a good time. Our roo. Was kept very clean and stayed cool. The hotel had towels, chairs, snorkels, and other beach equipment for us to borrow as well as sunscreen and other toiletries left behind by other guests. They offer free parking and the hotel is an easy walk into Cruz Bay to get to the taxi stand or shopping/ restaurants. Hope to come back some day! »
