« Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!! Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given. Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it. Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel. Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm. Definitely worth a visit »

« Hotel très bien placé avec vue magnifique sur le lac mais un peu vieillot Petit dejeuner buffet avec pas mal de choix mais la qualité pourrait être améliorée (porridge préparé avec du lait plutôt que de l’eau par example) La douche était un cauchemar alternant eau bouillante et glacée sans qu’on touche au robinet et quand nous l’avons mentionné à l’accueil, aucune excuse, juste un “merci pour le feed-back” »

« Very slick check-in with staff who clearly know their job, are all over the systems and clearly want you to have the best stay possible. Robes and slippers are available to use if visiting the pool or spa. Spacious, quiet room with tea/coffee making facilities and quality toiletries. Choice of pillows and large comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant both evenings. The food choice was wide, well cooked and presented invitingly. However, the waitress who served us both evenings obviously knew...

« The restaurant was excellent although the service was slow as there was no Maitre d' at the door to welcome and we had to wait quite a few minutes to be seated. However, the waiter cleared a table for us efficiently upon request. The setting was perfect for our outdoor weekend: rapidly flowing river outside our window and lovely views into the valley. The room was comfortable and spacious fitting myself, my husband and grown son adequately. »

« The person at the reception had a very inappropriate behaviour. The welcome was cold, to such a point that we did not stay in the hotel for the diner. Piscine (nice, good temperature), sauna (not warm enough - could not even sweat) Jaccuzzi (out of order). Wifi limited to Whathsapp and Facebok. TV poor quality (channels). Room quite big, good confort with 2 kids, a plus »

« Due to circumstances beyond our control we were forced to cancel our reservation at the hotel, which we did by telephone four days before our expected arrival. When the hotel refused to refund our prepayment, we asked for a raincheck, which they didn't even answer. »
