„The furnishings are worn. The second bedroom is only suitable for small children. The house is only a few metres from a busy main road with noisy traffic. The beach is unattractive. The water is too shallow for swimming. And the house is NOT in the “historic centre” of Portobelo, which is several kilometres away and consists of the ruins of a fort and a church. We were so disappointed we left after one night.“

„Rachel (the property owner) is the BEST! The car I rented couldn’t get up the steep driveway and she was there immediately to offer help. The views from the house are spectacular. We spent most of our time outside because there is a nice breeze off the ocean. I can hear howler monkeys. “
