« We loved our stay at the Laughing Coyote. If you are looking for quiet and solitude, this is the place. The cabin was comfy and had everything we needed. We explored the MANY trails around the area and fell more in love with the western side of the San Juans. Helpful info to know: you are 38 miles (1 hour drive) from Dolores on dirt roads. The roads to/from Rico are not as maintained so the drive is over an hour. The distance didn't bother us, since the views are breathtaking either direction....

« Quiet and peaceful location, yet close enough to Delores (2.5 Mi). Great and timely communication with Jason, the property owner/manager. The cottage was clean and beds comfortable. Two minor items to note: low water pressure and no real dining table but definitely not deal breakers. »

« Absolutely amazing place to stay. Love the view. The property was spotless clean. All that you need for a couple day stay. We had severe thunderstorms during our stay and the sound of the rain lulled us to sleep. We felt completely safe. Definitely an experience. Would highly recommend. »

« This tiny house was situated on a cattle ranch. In the evenings we would hang out with the cows and enjoy the view of the nearby mountains. It was incredibly peaceful! Our dog loved the stay as well. The house had everything we needed. We used the grill one night which was a great option and we were close to Mesa Verde National Park. »

« We made so many joyful family memories in this beautiful mountain setting! We were 17 adults and six very young children, and the house accommodated the whole group in charming, rustic comfort. We enjoyed four full days of hiking and fishing on the extended property; lounging and chatting on the deck; gathering for games, singing and meals; finding quiet spaces to read or nap. The host is amazing and very communicative, ensured we had everything we needed and checked on us through email and text several times in a good way and always ready with information on the area, even went above and beyond when it rained a good bit during our stay!
