„I would like to start by saying make sure you are booking the right house. They have a cabin and a cottage. The review says this place is on a lake and they have a pond. Once arriving I found out the pond was exclusively for the cottage. We booked for 5 nights Once walking in everything changed. The restroom smells of mildew and there was mold on the shower curtain. „This cottage was the perfect spot for our visit to UVA for the NCAA Lacrosse championships. The group consisted of myself, my son and four of his lacrosse teammates from W&J. We all loved the spot. We grilled food, caught & released some really nice fish, the boys enjoyed the hot tub - and we just generally had a great, relaxing, time. „Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return.  ...
