« What a beautiful property! We had an hours-long tour with Kathy, the caretaker, who lives in a cottage at the back of the property. There was so much to explore! The kids loved the pool. We played tennis. We walked, and walked, and walked. Quirky, and fun! Kathy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Beds were comfy, and lots of care taken to keep the place clean and visually interesting. Enjoy! »

« Great little place in a gorgeous town. Very reasonably priced with friendly helpful staff. The town is close to so many fantastic places such as Penola, Coonawarra wineries, national park and beaches at Southend and Beachport. We weren’t planning to visit Penola but did so when a staff member recommended it and so glad we did. »

« Good budget accomodation. Room dated but reasonably ok. No amenities in room at all, just beds and a pedestal fan, 1 bathroom ok the other good. Quiet location. Lots of stairs. »

« Love the charm of pub rooms. Delicious meals and attentive staff. Had everything I needed and at the same time was left alone, which is what I'm looking for in a stay. Grateful to have visited Millicent. »

« We were met at the gate by Sophie, property manager, who took us on a tour through her beautiful gardens and who was kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our four night stay. Jam, milk, cofee and tea were provided for us. The cottage is clean and well set out, with the second bed being a sofa bed which was suitable for one daughter but wouldn't have suited both. The owner had checked with us ahead of time and thus, we'd brought our own blow up mattress, so all was well. The girls enjoyed the...
