« Had the most amazing 4 night stay at this charming place. Quiet, lots of games at the lobby, always has it to ourselves to add, loved the dining area where it had a microwave-perfect place for eating the food we brought with us, room 6 was absolutely charming, comfy beds! spotless. Our room also had a fridge, microwave and coffee. Loved that we had Sleeping Mtn for our view-our dogs loved looking out the window. Great stay for our doggies too. I would go back. Lots of eating places next...

« An amazing place! Our room was clean and spacious. They have a beautiful common lobby and kitchen where you can hangout and interact with other guests. The fridge had a basket for every room, so you can store your perishable food items, very convenient and thoughtful! And as the name suggests, there is a mountain right behind the property. We saw Aoudads, mule deer and a roadrunner. The road leading to the inn from the main street is a bit rough, but driving slow takes care of it. Overall, this...

The location was perfect, and the view of Sleeping lion mountain was so pristine, I loved waking up to it every morning coffee cup in hand. « We loved this eclectic house! Nice kitchen, comfortable beds, and clean. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the host. And, yes, there were stickers but we thought they actually were coming from outside the fence where we parked. But it’s West Texas, things are prickly here! Overall, would highly recommend. »

« The views in this place are incredible, mountains for miles! You can see the sun rise and set from the same comfortable seat. The house is fresh, clean and nicely appointed with a well-stocked kitchen. The host was gracious and kept us informed at all times. And the location is perfect, a relatively short walk to shops and restaurants downtown, and an easy drive to McDonald Observatory. We have stayed many places in Fort Davis over the years and this place is our clear favorite. »
