« Upon check in discovered the room smelled of pure bleach, burned your throat. Was initially told no other room was an available then it was switched out. Luggage cart was falling apart. Spots on carpeting throughout. Staff including front desk always sitting outside smoking and smell like smoke stacks. Breakfast room was freezing cold. Where is management for this location??? »

« We came into town for a wedding and had wonderful service and immaculate rooms. Free parking and plenty of spaces. It’s a small town with a lot of conveniences nearby if you’re staying more than a day or so. This will be our “ go to hotel” for any future trips in the area. »

« The property is beautiful, a very cute and clean home. The neighborhood is very quaint. I only wish I had known that it is near train tracks where the train ran by every few hours even throughout the night. I am a light sleeper, so I was woke up several times during the nights by the train. Overall, though, this place was great! »

« We enjoyed our stay at The Lazy Gray. It was clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room to relax, we liked the open dining area and comfy chairs and couches. The best part was being in a peaceful area and sitting outside enjoying the weather. It is close to town with several dining options and within distance to explore West Virginia as well as Jackson, we also found some cool places to explore in the Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area. »

« William's house was spotless and had everything 3 adults needed for a 4 night stay. The kitchen was especially well stocked with equipment and staples, allowing us to cook at home instead of eating out all the time. Every morning, we enjoyed eating on the swing overlooking the river. The flowers in bloom were also lovely and the garden was private and quiet. All switches were accurately labled and the house was in a perfect location for us, in our geneological quests! William even helped us...

« Host was very accommodating. Brought rocking chairs for the porch so my mom and aunt could sit outside. He was very friendly. Not sure if it was an oversight on my part but I thought the additional event building was included. When I inquired about it, I was told it wasn’t available due to an upcoming event. It worked out fine but I think the listing was a bit deceptive. The hot tub looked a bit cloudy the first night. We did not alert the host but I’m sure if we had he would have worked to...

« It was an excellent place to stay. The home was so comfortable, clean and relaxing. The owner thought of everything to make my stay a pleasant one. The backyard is private with a hot tub and fire pit. Each of the bedrooms has its own television. The living room was very comfortable and the office was a great touch. »
