„Slightly understaffed at times. Not all staff were friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Jessica who's the heart and soul of operations. Would be nice if staff passed the time of day when you see them e.g. for breakfast. Otherwise breakfast was excellent. Room cosy enough, mattresses good. Slightly damp. Heating not provided although requested and promised by member of staff. Excellently located to explore Lincoln and the area. Would probably return.“

„We have stayed at the Petwood Hotel before, in order to join a friends party. We loved it so much that I treated us to a room overlooking the garden. It was well worth the extra money, as there was a raised area with a lovely table overlooking the gardens as well as the huge size of the room itself. The history and atmospheric quality of the hotel is superb and the local area is fabulous, especially for walks or cycling. Treat yourself to Sunday lunch if you can as a fabulous pianist called ...

„The hotel was absolutely fabulous, our room was very clean & had a welcoming feel. Having a bath & shower (both great) we was spoilt for choice so used both of them. The bed was so comfortable it was a shame we wasn’t able to layin & make the most of the stay. Unfortunately due to our schedule we checked in late evening & checked out early morning. We also used the restaurant for the evening meal which was also excellent, shame we wasn’t able to stay for the breakfast menu. “
