« My husband and I stayed here to visit family in the area. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Melissa was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. The location is quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed fires at the firepit both nights. I very highly recommend this cabin and we are planning to come back in the fall to see all the fall colors. »

« The Castaway Resort was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet, clean and cozy. My views of Croton Dam Pond were fabulous and I even got to see some Baltimore Orioles. I went for a week of solitude to spend time weaving on my little workshop loom. I had the peace and quiet I needed to concentrate. The Hosts, Bob and Joy were 100% available and accommodating, and my sweet dog Poppy was completely welcomed. I would definitely return. I'm thinking maybe in the fall when kids are back in...

« This cozy bungalow worked perfect for our family of 5 as we had friends on the lake and were able to keep our boat at their home. Very clean, smelled fresh when we arrived. The kids loved the loft and 2/3 slept up there comfortably. The 'waterfront' was more like a channel (definitely not swimmable) but my kids enjoyed the wildlife and catching frogs. I liked sitting out in the morning having my cup of coffee. Wound rent again 😉 Thank you »

« My husband & I came up from Indiana for a long relaxing weekend & the cottage was perfect. We really enjoyed sitting on the back patio & drinking coffee or enjoying a good book. The kitchen decor was *chef’s kiss* When the neighborhood lost power for a few hours on our first night, the hosts were superb in communicating about the situation & even sending updates from the electric company. We would definitely stay here again! »

« Just like the pictures. Very quiet for the 4th of July. Jasmir was very responsive to our inquiries. Price was very reasonable. The water was great for drinking as we don't drink bottle water and the shower was fabulous. Good water pressure and very hot water. I would definitely recommend staying. »

« My 3 grandchildren and I stayed in this darling cottage. It was just right for us. There was LOTS to do on the water with paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boat, floating mat, and fishing. The convenience of the kitchen, grill, and washer/dryer made our stay extra nice. There were outside and inside games available. We made sweet memories! »

« This place was amazing! Melissa was friendly and VERY helpful. We had quite and adventure with a small kitten climbing in our bumper, but we got him out amd helped reunite him with his family! The view of the river was beautiful. And my husband was able to catch a walleye. This was the perfect spot for a mini vacation and hope to stay here again in the future. »
