« Before checking in, we passed by the Victorian Inn from the highway at night. Our first impression of the beautiful "house" all lit up in lights was in a word 'enchanting'. We arrived late and rang the bell. The lobby was tastefully decorated and particularly inviting. Nick, the night clerk, came out rubbing his eyes and yawning. « My husband and I had a really nice stay. The place was really cozy and the lake is just down the lawn and it was so beautiful. The only thing to mention is the wall between cabins is not sound proof at all and we could hear the kids shouting in their cabin. Not a problem for everyone but we don’t have kids so it was a bit loud for us during the 1 day they stayed. But we did have a really good time! »

« The cabin was very clean and cozy and was perfect for the two of us. We had everything that we needed from microwave to coffee maker and there was even a crock pot that we put to use. »

The house was relatively easy to find, though it took us a few minutes of searching, which was expected given that it’s a new build. The owner provided helpful screenshots to guide us to the location. He was also quick to respond when we had a question during our stay. « We stayed for the ISU vs. OSU football game. Great place out in the country which we are used to. Was clean and comfy, just what we needed for our weekend stay. Would recommend this to family and friends and will come back when we need a place to stay. »
