„The garden was beautiful and from the verandah, where one could have breakfast, the view was stunning! Staff was helpful and polite. The room had seen better days and was in serious need of some renovation - the carpet was weared out, with holes and stains and in the bathroom a lot of tiles were missing. „Our stay at Eden Lodge was horrible and the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. There was no power on in hotel as the generator is only turned on at 6.00pm and the staff were using a torch to try and find our booking. We booked and paid 6 weeks before our stay but the reception had no record of our booking and payment when we tried to book in. Our booking details and payment were only confirmed the next morning. „The place is serene and quiet. Rooms are comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace. Outside area also very nice with beautiful msasa trees. We had a good restful holiday. For future improvements, door latches and general lighting in the cottage need attention and when possible a second bathroom maybe inorder. Otherwise we are planning to visit again“
