« The town of Lund is very small with few shops and restaurant options. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat with great views, staying in the Lund Hotel is a nice option. Pollen Sweaters and Nancy’s Bakery are a short walk away. For boaters getting work done at Jack’s Boatyard it’s less than a mile away and a pleasant walk. The hotel is in an older building and the rooms were recently renovated. Ours was spacious, nice bathroom and comfy bed and linens. Laurel is an amazing host who...

« La premiĂšre chose Ă  dire concernant le Old Courthouse Inn est qu'il se trouve directement placĂ© derriĂšre une usine Ă  papier. Si cela ne nous a pas gĂȘnĂ© pour dormir, c'est vraiment dommage car l'usine cache la vue de la jolie baie de Powell River. Ensuite, c'est un hĂŽtel dit "boutique", en hommage Ă  la mĂšre du propriĂ©taire et aux annĂ©es 50: c'est un amoncellement de meubles et d'objets pas particuliĂšrement beaux mais qui ont en commun le fait d'ĂȘtre vieux. Il en rĂ©sulte une odeur de poussiĂšre...

« This place’s view was stunning. The cabin is exactly as pictured and cozy. The most important factors for us were that it was dog friendly and they had an amazing restaurant on site which was handy because there isn’t much around in terms of dining. This place is worth the drive and the hosts who live on site were accommodating but also gave you space. I would recommend this place to anyone going to the Powell river area »

« One of the most charming places I've ever stayed in. We were greeted with a bowl of eggs from the ducks/chickens at the end of the garden (which we promptly repaid with snacks) and the three small buildings were super clean and incredibly welcoming. There were a few minor bug/dirt related issues with the outside shower but nothing too bad at all. We look forward to coming to stay again! »

"Nice rooms. Nicely maintained site and landscaping. We really enjoyed the restaurant’s ocean view for late night dinner and early departure breakfast, the food isn’t great but it’s there when you need it. We enjoyed the heated pool. Overall good experience, we’ll be back! "
